Fundraising online is fun, but most of your child’s free time should be spent away from televisions and technology, being active to keep their heart and brain healthy.
Yes to water, no to sugary drinks
The impact of sugary drinks on the health of Canadian children is troubling: childhood obesity levels in Canada have tripled since 1979. A 250mL serving of 100% orange juice has 5.5 teaspoons of added sugar.
